Deck overview

This deck executes an aggressive Orzhov stax-voltron and combat-reanimation strategy led by Squall, SeeD Mercenary. The early game focuses on deploying efficient mana acceleration alongside disruptive hatebears like Archon of Emeria, Phyrexian Censor, and Thalia, Guardian of Thraben to choke opposing tempo and enforce strict spell limits. Once Squall enters the battlefield on Turn 3, he attacks alone on Turn 4 to gain innate double strike from Rough Divide. Dealing combat damage across first strike and normal damage steps triggers Squall twice, allowing you to return up to two permanents with mana value 3 or less from the graveyard directly to the battlefield each turn cycle.
