Deck overview

This Dimir deck is commanded by Oskar, Rubbish Reclaimer, converting discard costs into immediate card advantage and tempo. The game plan focuses on deploying early discard outlets such as Psychic Frog, Kitsa, Otterball Elite, and Anvil of Bogardan to stock the graveyard with varied mana values, allowing Oskar to enter as early as Turn 3. Once Oskar is assembled, symmetrical discard pieces like Oppression and Necrogen Mists severely restrict opponents while letting you cast your own discarded spells at instant speed. The deck accelerates toward a critical Turn 5 onset by pairing wheel effects like Windfall and Dark Deal with devastating payoffs such as Notion Thief, Sheoldred, the Apocalypse, and Tergrid, God of Fright. These sequences strip opponent hands and generate massive resource disparity, closing the table through lethal drain, token swarms, or the compact two-card infinite combo of Professor Onyx and Chain of Smog.
