Deck overview

This is a Sultani (BGU) tribal value deck helmed by Maralen, Fae Ascendant that leans heavily on Elf and Faerie synergies, -1/-1 counter interactions, and token generation to grind out card advantage. The commander's ability to exile the top two cards of an opponent's library on each Elf or Faerie ETB, then cast one of those exiled spells for free each turn (provided you have enough Elves/Faeries in play) serves as the primary card-advantage engine. The deck's main win path is combat through a wide board of tokens (Flourishing Defenses fueling an endless stream of Elf tokens) and pump effects, with proliferate from Evolution Sage and Inexorable Tide pushing incremental advantages. A secondary combo line using Flourishing Defenses plus repeated -1/-1 counter generation (e.g., Nightmare Sower or High Perfect Morcant) can quickly overrun opponents, but the lack of dedicated tutors makes assembling it inconsistent.
