Deck overview

This mono-green deck is a synergistic Bear tribal and Stompy midrange strategy commanded by Beorn the Fierce. The primary game plan revolves around accelerating in the opening turns with efficient green ramp spells and deploying low-cost Bear and changeling creatures like Ayula, Queen Among Bears, Wilson, Refined Grizzly, and Metallic Mimic. On Turn 4, casting Beorn immediately buffs the team with +2/+2, distributes permanent trample counters, and draws two cards each combat by maintaining a critical mass of Bears. The deck converts this substantial card advantage into overwhelming board presence, culminating in lethal combat swings on Turns 6 to 7 using game-ending power multipliers like Overwhelming Stampede, Unnatural Growth, and Beastmaster Ascension. While vulnerable to mass bounce or exile board wipes and devoid of stack countermagic, its dense mana base, robust card draw engine, and redundant high-power threats allow it to rebuild quickly and close games through sheer combat dominance.
