Treebeard pt 2 by user3470920

Format: Commander

Commander: Treebeard, Gracious Host

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Selesnya deck helmed by Treebeard, Gracious Host is a life-gain +1/+1 counters Voltron strategy with a compact infinite-combo backup. The primary plan is to deploy Treebeard, generate life through a dense suite of soul sisters, food tokens, and life-gain triggers, then use Treebeard's ability to pile +1/+1 counters on itself and win via commander damage. The secondary win condition is the infinite loop between Scurry Oak and Rosie Cotton of South Lane-each token creation triggers the other, producing infinite squirrel tokens and infinite counters, which can be converted into infinite life via Soul Warden-type effects. The deck runs moderate ramp, a solid protection package, and several board-level removal spells, but lacks efficient tutors and counterspells, making its execution inconsistent.
