beginner deck for son by mightymau5

Format: Commander

Commander: Ruxa, Patient Professor

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Ruxa, Patient Professor turns a board of French-vanilla green beaters into unblockable, +1/+1 threats and gives repeatable recursion on enter/attack. There is no double-faced commander; the deck is built around Ruxa's single face. Primary plan: ramp into large no-ability creatures, back them with Muraganda Petroglyphs/Gaea's Anthem, and swing past blockers while drawing from Guardian Project, Beast Whisperer, Garruk's Uprising, and power-based spells. Secondary paths are a big-mana pump burst (Return of the Wildspeaker, Rishkar's Expertise) and Garruk, Primal Hunter tokens. The closest hidden commander is Muraganda Petroglyphs, acting as a second anthem and payoff. There are no infinite combos; combat damage is the only win.
