Deck overview

This mono-green stompy deck uses oversized, efficient creatures to reduce the casting cost of Ghalta, Primal Hunger to just two green mana as early as Turn 4. The early curve focuses on 1-mana and 2-mana ramp into aggressive 3-mana creatures with 5 or 6 power, such as Pugnacious Hammerskull and Steel Leaf Champion. Once Ghalta hits the battlefield, the deck converts its massive board presence into card draw through engines like Garruk's Uprising, Elemental Bond, and Rishkar's Expertise. It finishes opponents through overwhelming trample damage backed by Overwhelming Stampede, Unnatural Growth, or Surrak and Goreclaw. The deck's primary limitations are its lack of stack interaction and its vulnerability to sweepers, though its high density of large threats gives it reliable mid-game recovery.
