Deck overview

Harbin, Vanguard Aviator leads an aggressive Azorius Soldier tribal strategy focused on going wide with low-cost creatures and token generators. The primary objective is to deploy four Soldiers in the early turns, cast Harbin on curve, and trigger his teamwide +1/+1 and flying buff by attacking with five or more Soldiers on Turn 5. Secondary anthems such as Goldnight Commander, Valor in Akros, and Paladin Class scale the army's damage output, while Strixhaven Stadium provides an alternate knockout threat. The deck features exceptional functional redundancy among its creature base, ensuring consistent early-game curve-outs. However, its reliance on committed creature boards without dedicated mass protection spells leaves it vulnerable to sweepers. Card flow is mostly pay-per-trigger or one-shot, and disruption consists of tempo-oriented removal and situational countermagic.
