Deck overview

This deck is a mono-blue spellslinger combo deck piloted by Kaho, Minamo Historian. Kaho acts as a repeatable tutor engine from the command zone, exiling three instant cards on entry that she can cast for free by tapping and paying their mana value. The deck's primary strategy controls the early game with efficient counterspells and bounce effects before assembling an infinite mana and storm loop. On turn 5 or 6, the deck combines High Tide or mana doublers with Scholar of the Ages, Turnabout, and Ghostly Flicker. Flickering the Scholar and an Island repeatedly untaps all lands, generates infinite mana, and retrieves every instant from the graveyard. The loop finishes the table in a single turn by casting Brain Freeze with an arbitrary storm count and forcing opponents to draw from empty libraries with Intellectual Offering or Mikokoro, Center of the Sea. Robust protection spells like Shore Up and Essence Flux keep Kaho safe during critical setup turns.
