Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Boros tribal strategy centered on Thorin, King of Durin's Folk. It develops low-cost Dwarves in the opening turns, lands Thorin on Turn 4, and rapidly accumulates Treasure tokens. Thorin converts every artifact token into a static power boost for all other Dwarves, enabling explosive combat damage swings starting on Turn 5. Token doublers like Mondrak, Glory Dominus and Anointed Procession double both creature tokens and Treasure generation, accelerating board power exponentially. The deck supports this aggressive core with efficient single-target exile removal, robust board protection spells like Dawn's Truce, and backup finishers including Akroma's Memorial and Dáin of the Ancient Halls. While vulnerable to mass creature sweepers and artifact wipes, its low curve and redundant Dwarf roster provide quick recovery and consistent pressure.
