Deck overview

This deck is a high-powered Dimir tempo-cheat strategy commanded by Satoru Umezawa. Its primary objective is to deploy cheap, unblockable 1-mana creatures in the opening turns, cast Satoru on Turn 3, and utilize Satoru's universal ninjutsu ability on Turn 4. By paying {2}{U}{B} after blockers are declared, the deck cheats game-ending bombs directly onto the battlefield tapped and attacking. Payoffs like Blightsteel Colossus instantly eliminate players via infect damage, while Toxrill, the Corrosive, Archon of Cruelty, and Ancient Silver Dragon generate insurmountable card and board advantages. A premier suite of free and low-cost interaction, including Fierce Guardianship, Force of Will, and Deadly Rollick, protects the commander and disrupts opposing win attempts while conserving mana for combat activations. Backup reanimation spells and native ninjas provide strong resilience against targeted removal.
