Deck overview

This deck is an Azorius synergy strategy built around Bard, King of Dale. The game plan revolves around casting low-cost creatures that trigger whenever you draw your second card each turn, such as Prince Imrahil the Fair and Mischievous Mystic. Once the commander resolves on Turn 6, its passive abilities double both token generation and extra card draws, rapidly filling the hand and flooding the battlefield. The deck transitions into a lethal threat on Turn 7 by resolving scaling anthems like Cathars' Crusade or token multipliers like Ojer Taq, Deepest Foundation. Combat damage then eliminates the table across Turns 8 and 9. While the deck boasts resilient instant-speed protection like Flare of Fortitude, its low ramp density and lack of stax mean it must respect faster combo strategies.
