Happy Birthday! by InstantOafmeal

Format: Commander

Commander: Bilbo, Birthday Celebrant

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

An Abzan Halfling/Food lifegain deck built around Bilbo, Birthday Celebrant. The primary plan is to create excess Food and creature tokens with Sam, Peregrin, Goose, and Farmer Cotton, then amplify life through Bilbo's replacement effect, Boon Reflection, and The Wind Crystal. Beacon of Immortality and Revival // Revenge jump the life total past 111, unlocking Bilbo's ability to exile himself and put any number of creature cards from the library onto the battlefield. Secondary paths include the Nuka-Cola Vending Machine plus Peregrin Took loop, which generates infinite Foods and Treasures, then drains with Mirkwood Bats, The Sackville-Bagginses, or Sanguine Bond. Bilbo is both a lifegain amplifier and a final tutor/payoff; there is no hidden commander.
