Ghalta, Primal Hunger by VinceTheMTGAddict

Format: Commander

Commander: Ghalta, Primal Hunger

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This deck executes a dedicated mono-green stompy strategy led by Ghalta, Primal Hunger. The primary game plan is to accelerate mana and deploy undercosted, high-power creatures like Pugnacious Hammerskull and Steel Leaf Champion to rapidly reduce Ghalta's casting cost down to two green mana. Once Ghalta hits the battlefield, the deck converts its twelve power into overwhelming advantages through massive card draw spells like Rishkar's Expertise and lethal combat modifiers. Games conclude by trampling over opposing defenses using game-ending overrun effects such as Craterhoof Behemoth, Overwhelming Stampede, and Unnatural Growth, or by dealing lethal commander damage with equipment like Fireshrieker.
