Deck overview

This deck is a high-power mono-blue list commanded by Tetsuko Umezawa, Fugitive. It pairs fast artifact acceleration with dense free countermagic, asymmetric nonbasic land denial, and compact two-card win conditions. The deck aims to slow opponents down early using pieces like Back to Basics, Harbinger of the Seas, and Winter Moon while accumulating card advantage through Rhystic Study, Mystic Remora, or The One Ring. Tetsuko makes small utility creatures unblockable to trigger saboteur effects such as Cephalid Constable or Curiosity. To close the game, the deck transitions rapidly into compact combo finishes: resolving Paradigm Shift into Thassa's Oracle, generating infinite mana with Basalt Monolith and Power Artifact to machine-gun the table with Walking Ballista, or looping Isochron Scepter with Dramatic Reversal.
