Deck overview

This Gruul Werewolf deck uses Tovolar, Dire Overlord as an aggressive combat engine and Day/Night regulator. The game plan focuses on curving out with efficient low-mana Wolves and Werewolves on turns 1 and 2, casting Tovolar on turn 3, and immediately converting combat connections into raw card advantage. On turn 4, Tovolar automatically transforms the pack to their nightbound sides, boosting team stats and unlocking trample and firebreathing abilities.
