Deck overview

This deck is a synergistic Bant midrange strategy focused on modifying creatures with +1/+1 counters and leveraging Tidus, Yuna's Guardian to translate combat damage into compounding card advantage and proliferate triggers. It operates with a strong foundation of 2-drop ramp and scaling mana dorks like Incubation Druid and Gyre Sage, enabling rapid deployment of mid-game threats. While the list lacks fast combo finishes or high-density tutor suites, it builds overwhelming combat math through asymmetric modifiers like Chocobo Knights, Sphere Grid, and Damning Verdict. The deck's primary vulnerabilities lie in its reliance on untapping with multiple nonland permanents, making it sensitive to well-timed board wipes. However, proactive insurance pieces like Luminous Broodmoth, Inspiring Call, and Resourceful Defense provide resilient counter-preservation and recovery when navigating interactive pods.
