Deck overview

This Grixis Spellslinger Combo deck is led by Cormela, Glamour Thief, utilizing her mana acceleration and death trigger to execute game-ending loops. The primary win condition pairs Cormela with a sacrifice outlet like Phyrexian Altar or Ashnod's Altar and a self-recurring reanimation spell like Demonic Gifts or Presumed Dead. Because Cormela enters with haste and adds mana for spells, looping her death and rebirth generates infinite mana, storm, and triggers. Payoffs such as Impact Tremors, Electro, Assaulting Battery, Professor Onyx, or Rona, Sheoldred's Faithful quickly eliminate the table. The deck also features a compact secondary win line with Professor Onyx and Chain of Smog, draining all opponents through infinite Magecraft triggers. Powerful card engines like Rhystic Study, Mystic Remora, and Archmage Emeritus maintain card velocity. Although tapland friction can slow early turns, dense Transmute tutoring and spellslinger redundancy provide reliable Turn 5 lethality.
