Deck overview

This deck is a Boros reanimator and burn strategy led by Joshua, Phoenix's Dominant. In the early turns, it uses efficient discard and rummage spells to filter through cards and deposit high-cost creature threats into the graveyard. By Turn 4 to 5, the deck establishes its core engine, transforming Joshua into Phoenix, Warden of Fire or casting reanimation staples such as Feldon of the Third Path, Sun Titan, and Karmic Guide. On Turn 6, the deck achieves critical onset by reanimating powerhouses like Terror of the Peaks and Combustible Gearhulk, pairing them with haste enablers like Anger and damage multipliers like Lightning, Army of One. Supported by efficient single-target removal and protective spells like Teferi's Protection, the deck converts its graveyard recursion and ETB triggers into overwhelming board pressure, systematically eliminating all three opponents by Turn 8.
