Deck overview

This deck is an optimized Mono-White Stax Combo archetype led by Heliod, Sun-Crowned. The primary strategy relies on breaking parity through Rule of Law effects, creature tax pieces, and anti-search hate to suppress multiplayer speed. By restricting opponents to a single spell each turn and shutting down commander casts via Drannith Magistrate, the deck creates a slow, manageable board state. Meanwhile, Heliod sits in the command zone, immune to most standard removal due to its indestructible enchantment nature. The deck features extreme tutor redundancy for its primary win piece, Walking Ballista, utilizing creatures like Ranger-Captain of Eos and Recruiter of the Guard. Once assembled, granting Ballista lifelink generates an infinite damage loop that finishes all three opponents in a single turn without passing priority. Backed by preemptive silence effects like Grand Abolisher and Silence, the deck reliably defends its win window against opposing interaction.
