Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Boros Voltron and aggressive combo strategy commanded by Lightning, Army of One. It pairs explosive fast mana with dense Equipment and creature tutors to deploy Lightning and attach high-impact Equipment by Turn 3. Lightning's Stagger mechanic doubles all damage dealt to a defending player once combat damage connects, turning double strike, damage doublers, and extra combat spells into exponential life-total wipes. The deck can close games through sustained combat steps or an infinite combo using Aggravated Assault alongside Sword of Feast and Famine or The Reaver Cleaver. A premier suite of turn-silencing effects, instant-speed protection, and a versatile Sunforger package shield the combo turns against opposing interaction.
