Deck overview

This deck is a four-color polymorph strategy commanded by Jace, Multiverse Architect. By excluding cheap utility creatures from the 99, every creature and planeswalker in the deck is a game-ending bomb. The deck creates low-cost tokens using enchantments and spells such as Skrelv's Hive, Dreadhorde Invasion, and Lingering Souls. On Turn 4, Jace enters the battlefield and uses his −3 loyalty ability to exile a token and flip directly into a catastrophic threat like Blightsteel Colossus, Toxrill, the Corrosive, or Archon of Cruelty. Redundant polymorph spells such as Proteus Staff, Mass Polymorph, and Divergent Transformations ensure the strategy functions seamlessly even without the commander. A dense package of 2-CMC mana rocks guarantees smooth mana development across all four colors, while efficient spot removal, sweepers, and defensive taxes protect planeswalkers and life totals until overwhelming combat damage closes the game.
