Deck overview

This Orzhov deck is commanded by Orah, Skyclave Hierophant, utilizing Cleric tribal synergies and aristocrats loops to generate compounding value and assemble instant-speed infinite win conditions. The deck accelerates through early ramp like Sol Ring, Edgewalker, and Soldevi Adnate before deploying Orah on Turn 4 to establish a resilient recursion ladder. By sacrificing low-cost Clerics to outlets such as Ashnod's Altar, Phyrexian Altar, or Yawgmoth, Thran Physician, the deck draws cards and controls opposing boards while filling the graveyard. The primary win condition is an infinite lifedrain loop combining Exquisite Blood or Bloodthirsty Conqueror with Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose, Sanguine Bond, or Enduring Tenacity, which can be tutored directly into play using Academy Rector, Shadow-Rite Priest, or Demonic Tutor. The deck features robust creature protection via Mother of Runes and Benevolent Bodyguard alongside extensive nonland permanent removal.
