Niv Mizzet, Shenanigans [B4] by user7304503

Format: Commander

Commander: Niv-Mizzet, Parun

Bracket: 5

Deck overview

This Izzet deck is built around Niv-Mizzet, Parun as a draw engine and damage outlet. The primary plan is to pair Niv with Curiosity, Ophidian Eye or Tandem Lookout so each draw pings and each ping draws, creating an infinite damage loop off any instant or sorcery. Secondary wins use Isochron Scepter imprinting Dramatic Reversal for infinite mana, and an Underworld Breach storm line with High Tide, Frantic Search, Lotus Petal and Brain Freeze, plus a Flare of Duplication/Narset's Reversal/Reverberate copy loop into Grapeshot. Niv also draws on every instant/sorcery and cannot be countered. Hidden commanders are Niv-Mizzet, Visionary as a second Niv and Vivi Ornitier/Archmage Emeritus as alternative engines.
