Deck overview

Wilhelt, the Rotcleaver commands a Dimir Zombie tribal deck that converts disposable undead into relentless card advantage and token generation. The primary strategy swarms the battlefield with synergistic Zombie lords like Death Baron and Cemetery Reaper, generating sacrifice fodder to fuel Wilhelt and draw cards. The deck closes games through an infinite drain combo using Rooftop Storm, Gravecrawler, a sacrifice outlet such as Carrion Feeder, and Diregraf Captain. Secondary win conditions include explosive life drain from Gray Merchant of Asphodel, incremental burn from The Scarab God, and unblockable combat assaults enabled by Zombie Master and Lord of the Accursed.
