Thanduil: Devoted Druid by F3nrir

Format: Commander

Commander: Thranduil, the Elvenking

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Thranduil, the Elvenking leads an Elf tribal graveyard combo deck. It fills the graveyard quickly with Buried Alive, Gifts Ungiven, Jarad's Orders and looting to give Thranduil every activated ability of Elves in the yard. The main plan is to copy Devoted Druid and Immaculate Magistrate for infinite mana and +1/+1 counters, then win with Jarad, Exsanguinate or an Elf overrun. A second, faster line uses Demonic Consultation to empty the library for Thassa's Oracle. Elves also provide a fair beatdown with Priest of Titania, Marwyn and lords when combos fail. Thranduil also draws cards when legendary Elves enter.
