Toxril the Toxic by user9071550

Format: Commander

Commander: Toxrill, the Corrosive

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Toxrill, the Corrosive anchors a black-blue control/proliferate build. The primary plan is to stall with end-step slime-counter sweeps, then finish with an infinite life-loss combo assembled from shared life-gain/life-loss pieces (Exquisite Blood/Bloodthirsty Conqueror plus Vito/Sanguine Bond/Marauding Blight-Priest/Enduring Tenacity). A secondary poison track uses global poison effects and heavy proliferation to kill through Inexorable Tide and Tekuthal. Toxrill is the engine that turns opposing creatures into Slug tokens and draws cards, but the deck does not need him to execute either win line. Aclazotz and Venser add utility, and tutors plus draw engines make the two-card combo searchable.
