Format: Commander

Commander: Trostani, Selesnya's Voice

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Trostani, Selesnya's Voice is the commander, but the deck is a token-populate engine with a lifegain subtheme. The primary plan is to flood the board with tokens, use Trostani's populate and cards like Growing Ranks, Rhys the Redeemed, Doubling Season, and Elspeth, Storm Slayer to multiply them, and convert that mass into life, +1/+1 counters, and either combat damage, Felidar Sovereign, or Halo Fountain. A secondary path is Cathars' Crusade plus Storm Herd, creating a huge flying army and a burst of life gain. Trostani's role is the repeatable populate and life trigger; Rhys provides a hidden-commander-style token doubler. The deck is mid-speed, grindier than explosive, but can shift from lifegain to large combat swings quickly.
