Deck overview

This Jeskai Hero typal deck is led by Director Nick Fury, who reduces the mana cost of Hero spells and digs four cards deep every combat to draw more Heroes. The strategy focuses on accelerating early mana through efficient artifact ramp, casting the commander on Turn 3, and steadily curving out legendary Heroes. These creatures buff each other with +1/+1 counters, keyword abilities, and evasion. The deck breaks parity through asymmetric sweepers like Urza's Ruinous Blast, Raise the Palisade, and Desynchronization, which remove opposing boards while preserving your own historic and Hero permanents. Potent defensive spells like Clever Concealment and Spectacular Spider-Man protect your board from interaction, allowing combat multipliers such as War Machine, Avenging Arsenal and Avengers Assemble! to overwhelm the table in decisive combat steps.
