Demon Tribal by user6746221

Format: Commander

Commander: Ardyn, the Usurper

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Ardyn is a mono-black Demon/tribal deck with a compact two-card combo finish. The primary plan is to use heavy black tutoring and card draw to assemble Professor Onyx with Chain of Smog, winning through repeated Magecraft drain. Ardyn acts as a value engine: his Starscourge ability exiles creatures from graveyards and makes 5/5 Demon copies that gain menace, lifelink, and haste. Secondary paths include reanimating expensive Demons, beating down with 5/5 tokens, and reaching the Liliana's Contract alternative win. The deck is not built around a hidden commander; it functions without Ardyn, but his token generation and haste boost greatly improve the tribal plan.
