Deck overview

This deck is a dedicated 5-color Dragon Tribal Midrange strategy commanded by The Ur-Dragon. The deck utilizes the commander's Eminence ability to reduce the cost of all Dragon spells from Turn 1, accelerating a curve of massive flying threats. Early turns focus on mana fixing and green ramp spells, quickly advancing into mid-game value engines like Temur Ascendancy, Elemental Bond, and Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm. By Turn 5, the deck transitions into critical offensive onset using burst enablers like Hellkite Courser, Atarka, World Render, and Tiamat, overwhelming opponents with high-power flying attacks and devastating enter-the-battlefield triggers from Scourge of Valkas and Dragon Tempest. The deck maintains resilience through high threat redundancy and asymmetric board wipes like Crux of Fate, while Dragonlord Dromoka and Rhythm of the Wild safeguard big turns against countermagic.
