Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy Eldrazi token swarm deck commanded by Azlask, the Swelling Scourge. The primary game plan focuses on generating dense swarms of 0/1 Eldrazi Spawn and 1/1 Eldrazi Scion tokens through cards like Writhing Chrysalis, Awakening Zone, and Brood Monitor. As these tokens are sacrificed for mana or lost in combat, Azlask accumulates experience counters. Once the board is established, Azlask activates its {W}{U}{B}{R}{G} ability, granting all creatures a massive static buff while providing all Scions and Spawns with indestructible and Annihilator 1. This overwhelming combat wave devastates opponent life totals and wipes away defending permanents simultaneously. Backup avenues include the infinite flicker combo of Brood Monitor and Eldrazi Displacer, wide token anthems via Minthara, Merciless Soul and Eldrazi Monument, and asymmetric sweeps with All Is Dust. The deck balances explosive mana velocity with resilient token-based resource engines.
