Deck overview

This is a mono-black Vampire tribal deck built around Anowon, the Ruin Sage. It develops cheap Vampires, cost reducers, mana rocks, and death-trigger payoffs, then uses repeated upkeep sacrifices to weaken opposing creature boards. Cordial Vampire, Blood Artist, Malakir Cullblade, Patron of the Vein, and Dingus Staff convert deaths into counters, life swings, or damage. Tribal cards such as Captivating Vampire, Vampire Nocturnus, Bloodline Keeper, and Urza's Incubator support a combat finish. The deck has good black mana and several strong engines, but it is a fair midrange list rather than a compact combo deck. It lacks broad tutoring, stack interaction, and dependable protection. Its strongest games combine Anowon, the Ruin Sage with a large Vampire board and a death payoff; its weakest games draw expensive payoffs without enough card flow or early acceleration.
