Deck overview

This deck is a classic mono-red Dragon tribal stompy strategy led by Lathliss, Dragon Queen. The primary plan focuses on spending the early turns developing mana acceleration and cost reducers like Dragonspeaker Shaman, Dragonlord's Servant, and Dragon's Hoard. Once mana is established, the deck casts Lathliss and follows up with large Dragon threats to flood the battlefield with 5/5 flying Dragon tokens. Payoffs such as Dragon Tempest, Scourge of Valkas, and Utvara Hellkite convert Dragon entries and attacks into direct burn and exponential board growth. Evasive aerial combat backed by firebreathing pumps and double strike from Terror of Mount Velus closes out the game over multiple combat steps. The list runs asymmetrical damage sweepers like Breath Weapon and Magmaquake that clear opposing ground creatures while leaving its own flying army intact, though it remains vulnerable to sweepers and lacks countermagic to defend its high-cost board state.
