Deck overview

This deck is a Rakdos Big Mana and combat strategy led by Ozai, the Phoenix King. The central game plan revolves around leveraging firebending combat triggers to generate large bursts of red mana, which Ozai permanently stores across steps and turns instead of letting it empty. Once six or more mana is banked, Ozai gains flying and indestructible, transforming into a resilient commander damage threat. The deck translates accumulated mana into overwhelming game finishes through massive X-cost burn spells like Crackle with Power and Electrodominance, or explosive combat multipliers like Avatar Roku, Firebender and Hellkite Charger. Supporting ramp and efficient removal keep the deck operating on curve while multiple board wipes keep opposing creature boards contained until the lethal turn arrives.
