Deck overview

This Obeka, Brute Chronologist deck exploits 'at the beginning of the next end step' delayed triggers to permanently retain powerful temporary creatures, tokens, and extra turns. By ending the turn while sacrifice, exile, or loss triggers are on the stack, Obeka exiles those triggers permanently. The deck pairs low-cost cheat and clone engines such as Sneak Attack, Feldon of the Third Path, Jaxis, the Troublemaker, and Orthion, Hero of Lavabrink with high-impact payloads like Sepulchral Primordial, Puppeteer Clique, and The Master, Multiplied. Card draw spells with brutal end-step drawbacks like Ideas Unbound and Psychic Vortex turn into raw card advantage engines. If combat damage is impeded, the list features an infinite token kill via Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker and Fatestitcher. While vulnerable to instant-speed interaction targeting Obeka with end-step triggers on the stack, the deck possesses strong redundancy through Sundial of the Infinite and robust Grixis reanimation.
