Deck overview

This deck is a high-powered 5-color non-green Polymorph Control deck piloted by Jace, Multiverse Architect. The primary game plan revolves around deploying cheap noncreature token generators such as Dreadhorde Invasion, Occult Epiphany, or Shark Typhoon in the early turns, then casting Jace on Turn 4 to immediately activate his -3 ability. This transforms an expendable token into a massive, game-warping creature or planeswalker from the library, such as Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur, Hullbreaker Horror, Archon of Cruelty, or Avacyn, Angel of Hope. The deck reinforces this cheat engine with redundant polymorph spells like Proteus Staff, Reality Scramble, and Mass Polymorph. It protects its board and controls the tempo of the game using efficient white/black spot removal, asymmetric sweepers like Sunfall, and taxing effects like Chancellor of the Annex. Once a dominant board state is established, the deck closes out the game through evasive combat damage and attrition by Turn 7.
