Corpse Puppet by user4247658

Format: Commander

Commander: Venser, Corpse Puppet

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Venser, Corpse Puppet leads a Dimir proliferate/poison control deck. The primary line is to put one poison counter on each opponent with Prologue to Phyresis, Ichor Rats, Infectious Inquiry, or Vraska's Fall, then chain proliferate effects from sorceries, instants, Throne of Geth, Contagion Clasp, and Thrummingbird until the table reaches ten poison. The commander's proliferate trigger creates The Hollow Sentinel, which becomes the artifact sacrifice and a secondary body. A compact infinite line uses Dross Scorpion with Throne of Geth and the Sentinel token to generate unlimited proliferates. Draw cantrips, narrow tutors, and instant-speed interaction keep the plan resilient while the deck grinds into either the combo or a poison clock.
