NEW JORN by svveden

Format: Commander

Commander: Jorn, God of Winter // Kaldring, the Rimestaff

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a snow-permanent midrange deck helmed by Jorn, God of Winter // Kaldring, the Rimestaff. The plan is to flood the board with snow lands and snow permanents, then attack with Jorn, God of Winter to untap every snow permanent and convert that burst of mana into oversized threats, wipes, and card advantage. The back face, Kaldring, the Rimestaff, offers repeatable recursion of snow permanents from the graveyard. Primary wins are a cheated Marit Lage via Dark Depths (with Vampire Hexmage, Mutated Cultist, or Thespian's Stage) or Marit Lage's Slumber, backed by fair combat closers such as Overwhelming Stampede, Unnatural Growth, and scaling snow bodies like Abominable Treefolk and Rimefeather Owl. The deck plays as grindy Sultai value with a snow mana engine rather than a combo deck.
