Angels by bgpednhn

Format: Commander

Commander: Avacyn, Angel of Hope

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

A mono-white Angel tribal deck built to make Avacyn, Angel of Hope a one-sided wipe engine. The primary game plan is to ramp into Avacyn on turn 6-7, keep her alive with a few protection tricks, then cast Wrath of God, Austere Command, Planar Cleansing, or Nevinyrral's Disk so that the entire opposing board is destroyed while the angel team remains indestructible. The secondary plan is life-gain/token generation: Bishop of Wings, Resplendent Angel, Valkyrie Harbinger, Dawn of Hope, and Righteous Valkyrie accrue 4/4 flyers, draw cards, and pump the team. Avacyn is both protection and an 8/8 closer; no hidden commander exists, though Giada, Font of Hope acts as early Angel ramp and buff.
