Deck overview

This deck is a Gruul Dragon Stompy build centered on Atarka, World Render. The game plan focuses on rapid early ramp during the first three turns using mana dorks, land-search spells, and cost reducers like Dragonlord's Servant and Dragonspeaker Shaman. After establishing mana velocity, the deck deploys high-impact flying Dragons such as Lathliss, Dragon Queen, Drakuseth, Maw of Flames, and Scourge of Valkas. Casting Atarka immediately doubles the damage of every attacking Dragon, creating an explosive combat clock that can eliminate players in one or two hits. While the deck boasts high redundancy in ramp and threats, its primary vulnerabilities stem from a reliance on the combat step and exposure to board sweepers, mitigated partly by protective instants like Heroic Intervention.
