Dragon Queen by fatboi904

Format: Commander

Commander: The Ur-Dragon

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

The Ur-Dragon deck is a five-color Dragon tribal beatdown deck that leverages the commander's Eminence discount to cast expensive Dragons ahead of curve. The primary plan is to build a board of mid-to-large Dragons, then use The Ur-Dragon's attack trigger to draw into more threats and cheat permanents directly onto the battlefield. Secondary lines include Tiamat tutoring a hand of finishing Dragons, Miirym duplicating every Dragon, and Terror of the Peaks plus Bladewing providing direct damage. Atarka, World Render and All-Out Assault create explosive double-strike extra-combat turns. The commander is the main engine, but other cost reducers and draw effects keep the deck functional even if it never attacks.
