Deck overview

This mono-black aristocrats and graveyard deck is led by Syr Konrad, the Grim. The primary strategy leverages Syr Konrad's ability to deal 1 damage to each opponent whenever a creature dies, is milled from any library, or leaves your graveyard. Early turns focus on establishing mana rocks like Sol Ring, Jet Medallion, and Arcane Signet while stocking the graveyard using self-mill cards like Stitcher's Supplier and Stinkweed Imp. Once Konrad enters on Turn 4 or 5, mass mill engines such as Mesmeric Orb, Mindcrank, and Doom Whisperer trigger cascading life loss across the table. Powerful mass reanimation spells like Living Death and burst life drains from Gray Merchant of Asphodel and Massacre Wurm rapidly close out the game over one to two table rotations, while recursion engines ensure continuous mid-game resilience.
