Doomscourage by user7342024

Format: Commander

Commander: Kardur, Doomscourge

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Kardur, Doomscourge leads a Rakdos value-control deck that turns opponents' creatures into a life-draining clock. The primary plan is to cast Kardur to force attacks away from you, then punish every attacking death with his drain trigger while accumulating card advantage from demons, enchantments, and draw spells. Secondary paths include direct burn via Guttersnipe, Thermo-Alchemist, and damage doublers, plus big-mana haymakers like Sunbird's Invocation and Coveted Jewel. The deck has no infinite combos; it wins through incremental drain, repeated goad effects, and combat damage from stolen or hasty creatures. The hidden commander is Kaervek the Merciless, who converts every opponent spell into direct damage. The deck is built to use Kardur's enter trigger and drain ability as its central engine.
