Deck overview

This Temur spellslinger deck turns modal spells into board presence, card velocity, and combat pressure with Riku of Many Paths. By casting flexible charms, commands, and spree spells, the deck triggers Riku to generate 1/1 flying Bird tokens, grow Riku into a formidable trample threat, and exile cards for extra card flow. Early turns focus on establishing 2-CMC ramp before deploying Riku on turn 3. From turn 4 onward, casting modal spells develops an evasive aerial army while simultaneously disrupting opponents, answering permanents, or sculpting hand quality. Mid-game payoffs like Valley Floodcaller, Banner of Kinship, and Vivi Ornitier magnify this pressure into lethal combat bursts or direct burn, while Great Train Heist and Savage Beating provide decisive closing speed. An alternate infinite combo with Dualcaster Mage and Sublime Epiphany provides an instant-speed win condition when games stall, making the deck resilient, adaptable, and lethal across interactive multiplayer pods.
