Shirei, Shizo's Caretaker V2 by y8eek

Format: Commander

Commander: Shirei, Shizo's Caretaker

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This mono-black aristocrats deck centers on Shirei, Shizo's Caretaker returning creatures with power 1 or less to the battlefield at every end step. The game plan focuses on establishing a repeatable engine using free sacrifice outlets like Viscera Seer or Carrion Feeder alongside utility creatures that disrupt hand size, remove opposing threats, or draw cards. As Shirei loops these small creatures during every player's turn, drain engines like Blood Artist, Syr Konrad, the Grim, and Bastion of Remembrance whittle down the table. The primary path to victory is grinding out opponents through cumulative life drain, board control, and explosive finishes with Gray Merchant of Asphodel.
