Deck overview

This is a Simic spell-targeting value deck helmed by Ivy, Gleeful Spellthief. The core plan is to cast cheap single-target cantrips, combat tricks, and Auras at other creatures so Ivy copies them onto herself, stacking pumps, card draw, and evasion while building a modified board. Supporting engines include mutate creatures (Sea-Dasher Octopus, Gemrazer, Auspicious Starrix), clone payoffs (Vesuvan Duplimancy, Orvar, the All-Form, Rite of Replication), and heroic/extra-turn lines with Sage of Hours. Secondary win paths are poison via Venerated Rotpriest and large evasive combat with Ancestral Mask and Umbra Auras. The deck plays as a midrange tempo-value strategy that converts cheap targeting density into board presence and card advantage rather than a pure combo kill.
