Xtra Dmg (2HG tournament) by KampA80

Format: Commander

Commander: Ghyrson Starn, Kelermorph

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Ghyrson Starn, Kelermorph leads an aggressive spellslinger and burn strategy centered on amplifying one-damage pings into devastating three-damage hits. The deck deploys low-cost creatures like Kessig Flamebreather, Thermo-Alchemist, and Firebrand Archer alongside Ghyrson to turn every cheap instant, sorcery, and token trigger into substantial table-wide damage. Spells like End the Festivities and Tectonic Hazard double as efficient one-sided board wipes under Ghyrson's ability. The primary path to victory involves chaining low-mana cantrips, utilizing damage-triggered draw engines like Curiosity and Ophidian Eye, and executing a burn-out loop with Glint-Horn Buccaneer or storming off to eliminate all three opponents simultaneously.
