Deck overview

This Grixis deck operates as a hybrid discard-control and combo strategy commanded by Kefka, Court Mage. It leverages symmetrical discard effects and turns them entirely asymmetric using engines such as Waste Not, Tergrid, God of Fright, Tinybones, Trinket Thief, and Kefka's own card-draw trigger. While it can grind tables down into top-deck mode through repeatable discard and sweepers like Toxic Deluge and Blasphemous Act, its primary closing power comes from ultra-compact win conditions: Thassa's Oracle paired with Demonic Consultation, or Dualcaster Mage paired with Twinflame / Heat Shimmer. The mana package is anchored by efficient 2-mana rocks and rituals, supported by strong blue cantrips and black tutors. With Underworld Breach, the deck can easily recur spent combo pieces or storm off with Brain Freeze to secure victory across the board in a single explosive turn.
