Caesar, token Emperor by user4047463

Format: Commander

Commander: Caesar, Legion's Emperor

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Caesar, Legion's Emperor is the engine and finisher: his attack trigger demands a sacrificial creature, then either drops two hasty Soldiers, draws a card, or burns a target for each token you control. The deck maximizes that trigger with token sources (Bitterblossom, Adeline, Anim Pakal, Myrel), token doublers (Anointed Procession, Mondrak, Elspeth), and enter/death drains (Corpse Knight, Purphoros, Warleader's Call, Mirkwood Bats). Attack with a growing army, double Caesar's trigger with Roaming Throne, and finish via Moonshaker Cavalry or Akroma's Will. Aristocrat lines using Warren Soultrader, Pitiless Plunderer, and Phyrexian Altar add a sacrifice-damage route. There is no hidden commander; the plan is Mardu token swarm and drain.
